Cybersex is about the creation of *scenes* with a partner or partners. There are a lot of interesting commands to learn but the command .emote and .say (or just text typed in) which becomes "Terry says" to the other player are enough to start with.
If it is going to work you need a good imagination and fast typing. You can also program keys to produce much-used bits of text for you.
Chat to your would-be partner beforehand, find out what they like and dislike. (You can look at his or her profile Typing .ex terry will tell you a lot about terry) Believe they are whatever gender they have chosen and whatever age etc. or at least *suspend your disbelief* to make the scene work.
Boys - a tip. Log on with a female name and a desc like "big busty blonde" and see what kind of reaction you get. Then think about what really gets on your nerves - eg doms who won't leave you alone when you've told them you are looking for a sub and the sheer number of male players who will hover around you. Then bear this in mind when you are logging on *for real*.
Who was the guy who was really interesting and amusing? Be that guy!
When you have established yourself as a really amusing and interesting character it is time to .go to a room and set it to .private.
Then you will really have to make use of your charm and imagination to make the scene work. Think of it as a more interesting version of improvised amateur dramatics but remember that real relationships can develop from this activity.
Done properly it is very intense but don't be disappointed if it doesn't always work, some of the things people want from you are a bit out of the ordinary!
It is a safe place to play and of course you can try out things which are a bit out of the ordinary yourself. Like any improvisation, you can try out things which are illegal IRL and some they haven't even made laws against yet!
Oh and read Sherry Turkle's book, Life on the Screen. Back a page
